Common Payout Questions

Is there a minimum payout amount?​

No. Any positive available balance can be paid out.

What fees apply?​

  • Platform fee: 5%
  • Paystack fee: 2.9% + R1.00
  • VAT: 0%

How do I add or change bank details?​

Go to Resources > My Profile > Payments and update your South African bank account details there.

Why is my payout blocked?​

Usually because KYC is not approved, no earnings have cleared yet, or another payout is already pending for the same community.

How long does a payout take?​

After approval, bank transfer usually takes 1-3 business days.

What if a payout fails?​

Check your bank details, then contact support and ask for the payout to be retried.

Can I get paid to a non-South African bank?​

Not at the moment. Payouts currently go to South African bank accounts only.

Do I handle my own tax?​

Yes. PayBru does not withhold tax on your behalf.

How will I know a payout changed status?​

You will see updates in-app and may also receive email and Discord notifications.
