Creator Earnings Visibility
PayBru gives creators full transparency into their earnings. Everything you need to track your income is available in your creator dashboard.
Earnings Dashboard
Your earnings dashboard is the central place to monitor your income. Access it from your creator account under Dashboard > Earnings. The dashboard shows:
- Total earnings: Lifetime earnings across all income sources.
- Monthly breakdown: Earnings for the current and previous months.
- Per-tier performance: How much each membership tier is generating.
- Active member count: The number of paying members currently supporting you.
Fee Breakdown
Every transaction on PayBru has fees deducted before earnings are credited to your balance. Here is the full formula:
Net Earnings = Transaction Amount - Platform Fee (5%) - Gateway Fee (2.9% + R1.00) - VAT (0%)

This fee structure applies equally to all transaction types: subscriptions, tips, store purchases, and campaign backings.
Reduce your platform fee to 2.5% by referring 10 new signups to PayBru. The reduced rate lasts for 6 months.
Pending vs Available Balance
Your earnings move through two stages before they can be paid out:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Funds from transactions less than 7 days old. These are still within the hold period and are not yet eligible for payout. |
| Available | Funds from transactions that are 7 or more days old. These have cleared the hold period and can be included in a payout request. |
The 7-day hold period exists to account for potential chargebacks or payment reversals. Once a transaction is 7+ days old, its net earnings automatically move from pending to available.
Transaction History
The Transaction History section provides a detailed log of every payment received. Each entry includes:
- Date of transaction
- Member name (or anonymous, depending on settings)
- Gross amount paid and net amount after fees
- Payment type (subscription, tip, store purchase, campaign backing)
- Status (completed, pending, refunded)
Payout History
Track all your payout requests from the dashboard. Each payout entry shows:
- Date requested
- Amount
- Current status: Pending, Processing, Success, Failed, or Canceled
You are notified of payout status updates via in-app notifications, email, and Discord.
Exporting Earnings Data
Creators can export their earnings data for record-keeping or tax purposes. Use the Export option in your earnings dashboard to download a CSV file covering your chosen date range.
Export your earnings data regularly, especially at the end of each tax year, to simplify your financial reporting.
