Member Overview

PayBru makes it easy to support your favourite South African creators. As a member, you get direct access to exclusive content, events, stores, and community features - all billed in ZAR with local payment methods.

What You Can Do​

  • Join communities: Browse creator pages and subscribe to the community that interests you.
  • Choose a tier: Pick the membership tier that fits your budget and unlocks the perks you want.
  • Browse posts: Access community posts including blog posts, images, videos, audio, and polls based on your tier level.
  • Attend events: RSVP to virtual events (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Discord) and physical events hosted by creators.
  • Shop the store: Purchase digital and physical products from creator stores.
  • Send tips (Brus): Show appreciation by sending tips using the Brus system (1 Bru = R50). Tip publicly or anonymously as "Anonymous Bru", with an optional message.
  • Gift memberships: Give a membership as a gift to someone else for 1–12 months. You can send it anonymously, and the recipient has 30 days to accept.
  • Send direct messages: Message creators privately through PayBru's built-in messaging.
  • Get Discord access: Receive automatic role assignment in a creator's Discord server the moment your payment is confirmed.
  • Manage your billing: Update payment details, switch tiers, or cancel at any time from your dashboard.
  • Download invoices and statements: Access receipts, invoices, and monthly statements for every payment you make.

Your Member Dashboard​

Once you sign in to PayBru, your dashboard gives you a single view of:

  • Active memberships and their renewal dates
  • Community posts and content from your subscribed creators
  • Upcoming events you've RSVPed to
  • Store purchases and order history
  • Payment history and upcoming charges
  • Billing documents (receipts, invoices, statements)
  • Discord connection status
  • Direct messages

Getting Started​

  1. Create an account - Sign up at paybru.co.za with your email address.
  2. Find a community - Use a creator's invite link or browse available communities.
  3. Subscribe - Select a tier, complete payment, and you're in.
  4. Explore - Browse posts, RSVP to events, check out the store, and connect with the community.
