Rating a Community

Reviews and ratingsRate a community from My Activity > My Memberships. Reviews help other South African members find communities worth joining.

Only Active members can leave a rating — Past Due, Canceled, or Ended memberships cannot rate the community.

Ratings help other South African members decide where to spend their support. You can rate any community where your membership is currently Active.

Leave a Rating​

  1. Open My Activity > My Memberships.
  2. Choose the community you want to rate.
  3. Select Rate.
  4. Pick a star rating (1 to 5 stars).
  5. Add an optional written review.
  6. Choose whether the review is public on the community page or private feedback to the creator.

What Makes a Useful Review​

  • Be specific — "Weekly Q&A streams are worth the R99 alone" beats "great community".
  • Mention what tier you're on — different tiers offer different value.
  • Stick to your own experience — don't speak for the whole community.
  • Avoid sensitive details — don't share private messages or paid-only content in a public review.

What Happens Next​

  • Your rating is saved with the community and shown on the public page if you made it public.
  • The creator may showcase strong reviews as testimonials on their community page.
  • You can update or remove your review if the page allows it.

When You Can't Rate​

You can't rate a community if:

  • Your membership is Past Due, Canceled, or Ended.
  • You're a free-tier member of a community that only accepts paid-member reviews (creator's choice).

If you've left a community but want to share feedback, contact the creator through Messages or open Support > Get Help for serious concerns.
