Messaging Creators
Messages vs Get HelpUse Messages for creator conversation. Use Support > Get Help when PayBru support needs to investigate.
Creators see Messages in their Manage Portal inbox. Get Help opens a support ticket PayBru's team can work on with you.
Messages is for direct conversation with a creator. Get Help is for issues that need PayBru support to investigate.
Open Messages
- Open the Client Portal.
- Select Messages.
You'll see your conversations with creators and any tier broadcasts that have been sent to you.
Start or Continue a Conversation
- Open the conversation with the creator.
- Write your message in the composer.
- Send it.
Replies show up in the same thread. Keep messages short and clear — creators usually run their community in their spare time and shorter messages get faster replies.
Read Tier Broadcasts
Some creators send updates to a whole tier — a broadcast.
- Broadcasts appear in Messages alongside your direct conversations.
- You can reply to a broadcast like a normal message — only the creator sees your reply.
- Broadcasts are a great signal that the creator is active in the community.
What to Use Messages For
- Community-specific questions ("Are you hosting an event next Saturday?").
- Feedback on the content or community direction.
- Asking about a product, event, or post.
- Saying thanks for something you appreciated.
When to Use Get Help Instead
Use Support > Get Help for anything that needs PayBru to look at your account:
- Failed payments or unexpected charges.
- Missing access or Discord roles after troubleshooting.
- Refund requests on specific transactions.
- Bugs, glitches, or errors you can't get past.
See Getting Support and Refunds.
Tips for a Useful Message
- Lead with the question — creators can answer fast if the ask is in the first line.
- Include context — which tier you're on, what you've tried, screenshots if helpful.
- Be patient — most creators reply when they're next in their portal, not instantly.
