Configuring Community Settings

Manage Portal > SettingsSettings controls how your community looks publicly, which modules are active, and how PayBru notifies you.

Use Preview Community after every change. Enable only the modules you'll actually use — you can always turn more on later.

Use Settings in the Manage Portal to control how your community looks publicly, which features are active, and how PayBru notifies you about activity.

Open Settings

  1. Open the Manage Portal.
  2. Select Settings.

Preview Your Community

Use Preview Community at any time to see your public page exactly the way a visitor would. Always preview after changing avatars, banners, tier visibility, or social links.

Enable or Disable Modules

PayBru ships with a set of community modules. Always-on modules (Dashboard, Moderators, Support, Settings) can't be turned off — they're how you run the community. Everything else is optional.

Turn on only what you'll actually use:

  • Tiers — paid (or free) membership levels.
  • Payments — track every transaction.
  • Tips — Pay-a-Bru micro-support.
  • Posts — text/image/video/audio/polls.
  • Events — RSVP-able sessions.
  • Merch Store — sell digital or physical products.
  • POS / Counter — in-person sales surface.
  • Streaming — embedded Twitch/Kick/YouTube live indicators.
  • Browser Source — on-stream alerts for tips, memberships, and gifts.
  • Insights — analytics on what's working.
  • Discord Bans — sync your moderation list to Discord.

Start simple. You can enable modules later as you grow.

Configure Notifications

Choose how PayBru notifies you about activity:

  • In-app notifications (always available).
  • Email notifications to your account email.
  • Discord notifications if your Discord is connected — useful for fast pings on tips and new members.

Tune these so you get the signals you care about without alert fatigue.

Public Page Hygiene

A clean public community page lifts conversion. Keep this short list current:

  • Sharp avatar and cover banner.
  • Short, specific description.
  • Up-to-date social links (only ones you actually post on).
  • At least one published public post so new visitors see activity.
  • Clear tier descriptions with concrete benefits.
