Receipts, Invoices, and Statements

PayBru generates billing documents for every payment you make. You can view and download them at any time from your dashboard.

Types of Billing Documents

Receipts

A receipt is generated immediately after each successful payment. It confirms that your payment was processed and includes:

  • Date and time of payment
  • Amount paid (in ZAR)
  • Community and tier name
  • Payment method used (last four digits of card or EFT reference)

Receipts are also sent to your email address automatically.

Invoices

An invoice is a formal billing document issued for each charge. It includes:

  • Invoice number
  • Your name and email
  • Creator or community details
  • Line items with tier description and amount
  • Total charged in ZAR

If you need invoices for business expense claims or tax purposes, you'll find them ready to download - no need to request them from the creator.

Statements

A monthly statement provides a summary of all your PayBru transactions for a given month. It includes:

  • All payments made across every membership
  • Dates and amounts for each transaction
  • Running total for the month

Statements are useful if you subscribe to multiple communities and want a consolidated view of your spending.

Accessing Your Documents

  1. Go to Dashboard > Billing.
  2. Select Payment History to see a list of all transactions.
  3. Click on any transaction to view its receipt or invoice.
  4. To download a monthly statement, select the Statements tab and choose the month.

All documents are available as PDF downloads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a document for a past payment? Yes. Every payment you've ever made on PayBru has a receipt and invoice available in your dashboard, regardless of whether the membership is still active.

What if my name or details are wrong on an invoice? Update your profile information in Dashboard > Settings. Future invoices will reflect the updated details. For corrections to existing invoices, contact PayBru support.

Are documents available after I cancel? Yes. Your billing history and all associated documents are retained in your account even after cancellation.
